Takács Quartet

12.02.2015

We will begin at Rackham Auditorium. There you will pick up your tickets and have a chance to learn about the evening’s program before we attend the Takács Quartet’s performance at 7:30 PM.

The Takács Quartet is recognized as one of the world’s greatest chamber ensembles.  They will be performing a thoughtful, innovative program including not only works by Haydn and Dvořák but also a brand new piece by a phenomenal young American composer, Timo Andres. More information about the performance is available here on the UMS website.

After the performance we will walk across the street to the League to have a discussion over wine and dessert. We’ll be joined by the Takács Quartet as well as composer Timo Andres for an unforgettable opportunity to discuss the performance and to learn from the artists and the composer. The evening will end by 11 PM.
