10.29.2015We will begin in the Michigan League, on the 3rd floor in Room C. There we will enjoy dinner and discuss the narrative template and history of the musical pieces being played with Steven Whiting, Professor of Musicology and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies at the School of Music, Theatre & Dance.
We will then walk over to Hill Auditorium to hear a wonderful concert by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Riccardo Muti. They will be performing Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 (“Titan”) and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in c minor, Op. 67. More information about the performance is available here on the UMS website.
